This is just a quick note to explain my blog a bit further.
I have always loved going to the theatre and I’ve always wanted to write – the only trouble is I never knew what to write about. This blog started off as a kind of diary, just for me, as a reminder of all the shows I’ve seen and all the people I’ve met. After a lot of indecision and uncertainty, I decided to give the whole blog thing a go and, on the 9th of March 2013, Theatre Therapy was born!
For me, the theatre has always been my “happy place.” I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for a long time, and the theatre is the only place where I feel at home. No matter how low I feel, I go to see a show and it’s like the slate has been wiped clean.
I try to go to the theatre as often as I can, circumstances permitting, so this blog will be updated pretty regularly. I have also recently branched out into reviewing books and conducting interviews, and hopefully there will be more to come!
I hope you like what you read and, if you do, please feel free to pass it on.
