This is just a quick note to explain my blog a bit further.
I have always loved going to the theatre and I’ve always wanted to write – the only trouble is I never knew what to write about. This blog started off as a kind of diary, just for me, as a reminder of all the shows I’ve seen and all the people I’ve met. After a lot of indecision and uncertainty, I decided to give the whole blog thing a go and, on the 9th of March 2013, Theatre Therapy was born!
For me, the theatre has always been my “happy place.” I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for over five years now, and the theatre is the only place where I feel at home. No matter how low I feel, I go to see a show and it’s like the slate has been wiped clean.
I try to go to the theatre as often as I can, circumstances permitting, so this blog will be updated pretty regularly. I have a tendency to fan-girl and I do get starstruck quite a lot so please forgive me!
